Email Marketing ROI Calculator
See what a single email campaign is actually worth, from clicks to conversions to revenue to ROI, on the list you already have.
Email is usually the highest-ROI channel a business owns. This shows what one campaign is worth so you can decide what list growth and deliverability are really worth fixing.
How the campaign math chains together
Each rate multiplies the one before it, which is why email results swing so hard on small inputs. List size × open rate gives opens, opens × click rate gives clicks (the click rate here is of opens, not of the list), clicks × conversion rate gives orders, and orders × average order value gives revenue. ROI is revenue measured against the campaign cost you enter.
Because the chain multiplies, a 20% improvement at any single step produces the same 20% at the end. The practical consequence is that deliverability work and list hygiene often beat creative work: if a third of the list never sees the email, every downstream rate is being applied to a smaller number.
Where the estimate overstates reality
Open rate is the least trustworthy input on the page. Privacy features that pre-fetch images inflate it, so a model built on reported opens will tend to overstate revenue. Click rate and conversion rate are measured on real actions and are far more reliable. If you want a conservative figure, run the calculator twice — once with your reported open rate and once with something lower — and treat the gap as the uncertainty in the forecast.
