About DigiJaws
Growth isn’t supposed to
cost more every year.
DigiJaws exists because AI answer engines became where buyers decide — and being the cited answer is the one channel where the next customer costs about what the last one did.
The thesis
Two ways to grow.
Only one keeps its margin.
Every growth team meets the same wall. To push revenue up you spend more to acquire each customer — more channels, more headcount, more agencies. Cost per customer climbs until growth stops being worth having.
Being cited by an AI answer engine behaves differently. When the answer names you as the source, the marginal cost of that customer is close to nothing — and it compounds instead of resetting every month.
That gap is the whole reason DigiJaws exists.
As revenue grows, something has to give
Paid-led: cost per customer climbs with you
Answer-led: cost per customer stays flat
The difference is margin you keep
What changed
Buyers stopped clicking.
They started asking.
When an AI names two or three brands and stops, those businesses capture the demand and everyone else simply isn’t in the conversation. There is no ranking report that explains it.
Illustration — not a real AI Overview
And it is close to invisible. Google’s AI Overviews ships no native analytics; assistant traffic arrives unlabelled. Most businesses cannot tell you whether an AI has ever cited them — let alone why not.
Who built it
The 18 signals aren’t a guess.
DigiJaws was built by Beau Thoutt, who runs organic and AI-answer discovery across a six-brand, 500,000-page portfolio as Director of SEO & AEO.
When AI answers started replacing clicks there was nothing to measure them with — so he built the measurement: by model, by page, through to signup.
Every check in DigiJaws earned its place by changing what an engine actually said.
The problem with all of that
It took a team, a budget and a year.
The techniques work. They are simply priced for enterprises — eight people and twelve months to stand up. Every solo operator and growing business is playing the same game without the equipment, and the gap widens every quarter that answers replace links.
DigiJaws is that stack without the team, the budget or the year. The same signals, checked on your pages in about sixty seconds, and then the fixes themselves — llms.txt, JSON-LD, crawler rules, answer-first rewrites — written out and ready to publish.
The scan is free because the scan isn’t the product. The leverage is.
Where it’s going
Every channel in one place,
all guided by AI.
Search, AI answers, content, email, paid and agents — one place, one system, one person running what used to take a department. The technology does the work; the final call stays yours.
The tools are built by someone who has done the job, and they sharpen the more they are used — every scan teaches the next one. That is how revenue grows without cost per customer growing beside it: not another channel owner on payroll, but one person with the reach of eight.
